Capitalizing on substantial experience in event management, fitness training, and sports content development, Nick Palazzo established NP Ventures in 2020. Through the Palo Alto, California-based operating company, Nick Palazzo shares his knowledge of entrepreneurship, particularly in sports and entertainment, to help both startups and leading organizations in the sports, entertainment, and media verticals.
While studying for his BA in economics at Harvard University in 2001, Mr. Palazzo was a member of the Crimson football team. He earned recognition for scoring the Crimson’s first touchdown in a tense matchup against the University of Pennsylvania that resulted in Harvard’s victory over a Penn defense that was widely regarded as unassailable. Mr. Palazzo’s performance on the football team led to his induction into the prestigious National Scholar-Athlete Hall of Fame.
Still involved in sports, Mr. Palazzo established the 2x2 Foundation to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds improve their lives via participation in sports. The foundation not only offers athletic scholarships, after-school programming, and sports camp opportunities, but it also funds the renovation of school athletic facilities.
